In these ads for the Pasadena Humane Society, I definitely wanted the image to take center stage to promote adoption.  I wanted to remind potential adopters that the great thing about adopting a pet is not owning an animal, it is having a whole new family member and developing a new best friend.  These ads were designed to serve as a small checklist for potential adopters who were visiting the kennels looking for a pet.  The back of the ad contained a sort of guided checklist that would make the entire adoption process simple.  Step by step, the checklist walked a potential adopter through the entire process.
